The Control Commission of New Jersey gave their permission for Atlantic City casinos to test their server-assisted gaming. The commission also laid out rules that the casinos needed to follow.
Local 54 of UNITE-HERE finalized a deal with 4 Atlantic City Casinos on September 28th, 2009. Robert McDevitt said that casinos also agreed to guarantee the health benefits of employees.
Pinnacle officials said on April 16th, 2010 that they are setting aside their Louisiana Riverboat Casino plans. Pinnacle plans to focus on their other casino projects in Louisiana.
